Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience practicing in the New York State Supreme Court and District Courts.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases in both New York State Supreme Court and District Courts.
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to develop effective case strategies.
- Draft, review, and file necessary legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Engage in pre-trial proceedings, such as depositions and mediations.
- Advocate for clients during trials, presenting evidence and arguing motions.
- Negotiate settlements to achieve favorable outcomes for clients.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws, regulations, and court procedures pertinent to civil litigation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active membership in the New York State Bar.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil litigation, with substantial experience in New York State Supreme Court and District Courts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously and work under pressure.
- High level of professionalism and ethical standards.

About the Role
We are seeking a full-time Business Immigration Attorney to join our legal team in New York City. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with significant experience in employment-based and family immigration matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file immigration petitions: O-1, L-1, H-1B, E-2, EB-1/2/3, NIW
- Handle removal defense: asylum, SIJS, family-based litigation
- Draft motions, briefs, RFEs, NOIDs, and appeals
- Advise clients on immigration strategy and compliance risks
- Supervise paralegals and review legal documentation
- Represent clients before USCIS, EOIR, and other agencies
- Stay current on regulatory updates and legal trends
Qualifications
- JD and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction (New York preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in business immigration law
- Strong command of employment-based visa categories and PERM
- Experience with humanitarian and family-based cases preferred
- Excellent research, writing, and evidentiary review skills
- Fluency in Albanian and/or Italian is a plus
