Norman Williams, Jr.
Of Counsel – Criminal Law
Norman Williams, Jr. is a distinguished criminal defense attorney with 30 years of experience in New York courts. He began his career in 1996 at the Legal Aid Society, Criminal Defense Division, representing thousands of clients in complex criminal matters. He is known for his trial experience and commitment to client advocacy. His tireless dedication allowed him to bring a homicide case to a verdict during his third year at the Society and handle an average monthly workload of 100 cases. In 2001, he left the Society. However, his dedication to those in need has not changed.

Recognized Authority in Criminal Defense
Today, Norman runs a private practice focused on complex criminal defense and continues to represent those in need as a member of the Appellate Division, Assigned Counsel Plan (“18B” and “Homicide” Panels).
Norman also receives court appointments in guardianship and related proceedings and is frequently called upon to provide legal commentary in national and local media, which speaks to the level of trust the legal community has in his judgment.
He brings to Nonaj Law something that's hard to find: trial experience, client-first advocacy, and over three decades of knowing how New York courts really operate.
