Dritan Mishto has a consolidated background in both European Union Law and Diplomacy and American Legislative Affairs.

After a successful business attorney career in Albania working with international and domestic corporations, Mr. Mishto was invited to contribute to the public relation for the Government of Albania. Due to his professional reputation and impressive results Mr. Mishto is appointed Minister Consular/Chargé D’Affair in Washington DC and thereafter Consul General for Albania in New York.

During this capacity Mr. Mishto’s main focus has been on business affairs, trade exchange and investments. He organized the First US – Albania Investment Forum by bringing together the most distinguished companies from US, Europe, and South East Europe, a successful event that was followed by many other trade, business, cultural and educational activities.

His studies in The George Washington University equipped him with the skills and expertise in American Legislative Affairs including: Lobbying; Legislative Politics; Legislative Drafting and Procedure; Congress & White House; Qualitative and Quantitative techniques and tools used for effective decision-making in the legislative arena; etc. Also, Mr. Mishto possesses deep knowledge and professional competence on the European Union Legislation and EU Institutions. He currently serves as Market and Investments Consultant, being in charge of trade exchange, business opportunities and foreign investments into the United States of America.
